Exploring Ethereum
Blockchain technology's biggest problem is that there are no immediate and practical implementations. No one uses it and despite its features of security and transparency, no one knows what to do with it. This was a perfect opportunity to explore the technology's potential.
We spent over a year partnering with organizations of every size to define what transparency meant to their business and their customers. We ran several pilots in the wild to gain an authentic point of view on blockchain adoption in America.
"Why should we care?"
Our first partnership with Tampax took us to Lubbock, TX to meet organic cotton farmers and processors to begin to understand the supply chain and what meaningful info we should expose to the women who use their products.
We built a mobile experience that used QR scanning or manual input to track and trace the contents of every box of Tampax Tampons around the world.
Our second partnership was with Sotheby's who wanted to explore hosting lineage data of their artworks on the blockchain.
We built an asset management system on the Ethereum blockchain that hosted all of our track and trace projects. We worked with cannabis farmers, pharma companies, beauty and cosmetics brands, and organizations like WWF.
